G: What are you most proud of in the Gay community?
ds: That the majority of gay people out there who have overcome the difficulties of coming out genuinely sympathize with, and try to help, others who are still coping.

G: Least Proud?
ds: The cattiness and pretentiousness some guys portray to feel worthy. Ouch, that comment was a little catty, but it’s the truth.

G: What do you like best about living in your city?
ds: It’s a big blue city that offers all the opportunities a nation’s capital can provide, and it’s only a three-hour drive back home to see my family. That’s right, I’m a Mama’s boy.

G: Celeb you’d like to split a six-pack with?
ds: Keanu Reeves—did you see his six-pack in Constantine?

G: What’s on your IPod now?
ds: Seal, Sarah McLachlan, Gavin Degraw, Gwen Stefani, Mario, Incubus, Rascal Flatts.

G: First thing you notice in a guy?
ds: His eyes and face. I’m a sucker for a cute face.

G: Who was the first guy you kissed?
ds: Matt something, in the tree house in our backyard, and that took me 10 years. Hey, I grew up in Virginia.

G: Biggest turn-off?
ds: Smoking and when the first question a guy asks is “What do you do?”

G: Is one-on-one sex best?
ds: Absolutely.
